For independent stylists

Empty chair at 2pm.
Booked by 2:45.

When a client cancels, we draft a brand-voice social post and have it ready on your phone before you finish the next blowout. You approve the words. We handle the rest.

The math nobody talks about

You lost three hours of revenue today and didn't even know.

A cancellation at 9. A no-show at 11. A hole between 4 and 6. Each one a chair you can't refill because by the time you've finished the client in front of you, the window's already closed.

The average independent stylist loses $8,000 to $12,000 a year to dead zones that could have been filled with a single, well-timed post — if there had been time to write one.

There wasn't. There never is.

How it works

Three things happen. You only do one of them.

01

We see the gap.

Foilwork watches your booking platform in real time. The second a cancellation hits, we know — and we know how much time is left to fill it.

02

We draft the post.

Trained on your voice and your portfolio. We pick the right photo, write the caption that sounds like you, and pre-load the hashtags and location tags you actually use.

03

You approve in a tap.

We send it to your phone. You approve, edit, or skip. Approved posts publish at peak engagement — usually before your next client sits down.

Push notification · One-tap approve
The non-negotiable

Nothing publishes without your tap.

Your feed is your portfolio. We built Foilwork around that fact, not in spite of it. Every post — every word, every photo, every emoji — passes your eyes before it goes live.

  • You see it before clients do. One tap to approve. Tap again to edit. Skip without explanation. Auto-posting is off by default and stays off.
  • Your voice gets sharper, not flatter. The more you edit, the better we get at sounding like you. Most stylists tap "approve as-is" within three weeks.
  • If you don't approve, we don't post. Quiet days happen. Weekends happen. We never default to "post anyway" because we know what the wrong post does to your brand.

The numbers

About a 10× return, give or take a balayage.

Stylists who fill even a third of their dead zones with timely posts recover the cost of the tool in the first month. The rest of the year is upside.

For an established stylist booking $80k+ behind the chair.
Estimates based on industry surveys and pilot conversations. Your actual results depend on your booking volume, location, and posting cadence. Stylists earning under $50k/yr typically see lower absolute recovery; established stylists see more.

Where we're starting

We're launching in Reno on purpose.

Reno has roughly 250 salons and suite buildings within a 20-mile radius — big enough to prove the model, small enough that we can do this right. We're walking into salons, sitting at stations, and learning what actually works before we expand.

If you're a Reno-based stylist, you'll get founder-level attention, a permanent grandfathered rate, and a direct line to the team building the product. If you're outside Reno, get on the waitlist — Las Vegas and Sacramento are next.

Real questions

What stylists actually ask us.

Will it actually sound like me, or like a robot in a salon?

We train on 50+ of your existing posts before we draft a single thing. The result sounds like your phone wrote it, not ChatGPT. And because every post passes through your approval, the model gets sharper at your voice every week. By month two, most stylists are tapping "approve as-is" 80% of the time.

What if I'm cutting hair and miss the approval window?

Nothing publishes. We don't post on your behalf — ever — even if the optimal time passes. The draft sits in your queue. You can approve it later for the next viable slot, or skip it entirely.

Are my client booking details safe?

We never publish client names, services, or appointment specifics — only that there's an opening. All booking-platform credentials are KMS-encrypted at rest. We're SOC 2 Type I bound by mid-2026 and GDPR/CCPA compliant from day one.

What if Vagaro changes its API or shuts you out?

Fair question. We're an official Vagaro Marketplace developer with OAuth + webhooks (not screen-scraping), and we have CalDAV/ICS fallback for any platform without a public API. If Vagaro pulls the plug tomorrow, we keep working — the calendar layer is portable.

What about hashtags, locations, and the Reels stuff?

Hashtags pull from your historical sets — we don't invent them. Location tags come from your saved salon location. Reels and video posts are coming in Pro v2; for now we focus on what fills cancellations fastest, which is single-image posts and Stories.

Why $79 a month? Other tools are cheaper.

Generic schedulers are cheaper because they don't know when your chair is empty. Filling one extra appointment a month — at an average ticket of $130 — covers the entire year of Pro. We're priced for what we recover, not what a generic Buffer subscription costs.
